UCC Homes’ Policy Statements
In accord with the Federal Civil Rights Act and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, as amended: It is the policy of United Church of Christ Homes to operate each of its communities and programs, and provide services without regard to race, color, familial status, religious creed, ancestry, age, sex, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, ability to pay, handicap or disability, use of guide or support animals because of blindness, deafness, or physical handicap of the resident or because the resident is a handler or trainer of support or guide animals.
As such, no person shall be excluded from participation in, be denied benefits of, or otherwise be subject to discrimination in the provision of any care or service on the grounds of race, color, familial status, religious creed, ancestry, age, sex, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, ability to pay, handicap or disability, use of guide or support animals because of blindness, deafness, or physical handicap of the resident or because the resident is a handler or trainer of support or guide animals.
This non-discrimination policy applies to residents, patients, clients, physicians, service personnel, and other independent contractors.
All persons and organizations having occasion either to refer persons for admission or services, or to recommend any of the communities, programs or services, are advised to do so without regard to the person’s race, color, familial status, religious creed, ancestry, age, sex, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, ability to pay, handicap or disability, use of guide or support animals because of blindness, deafness, or physical handicap of the resident or because the resident is a handler or trainer of support or guide animals.
