Personal Care Home Administrator: The Lebanon Valley Home is seeking a Personal Care Home Administrator for a part-time position. The successful candidate should hold a current Personal Care Home Administrator license through the Department of Public Welfare plus a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in social work or a Licensed Nurse is preferred. The individual should have strong knowledge of Personal Care regulations, two years of management experience, and experience in senior living is preferred. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task many projects, understanding of person centered care, strong communication and leadership skills with an emphasis on team building is essential to this position. Job duties include collecting solid laundry from various areas of the community; sorting and laundering flat linens, personal laundry, etc. according to established laundry procedures; operating all laundry equipment as instructed during orientation to the department or as changes in equipment occure; folding and preparing all laundry for distribution throughout the community; distributing all the resident personal laundry to their rooms; providing clean laundry for staff to provide quality care to the residents in the areas of Nursing, Personal Care, Dining Services and Housekeeping; and providing quality service to maintain the dignity of the residents living in the community. Prior experience in long term care is helpful and preferred.
